What type of data do CPAs need?

I am planning to do bookkeeping myself for a new business. I plan to use r/plaintext accounting tools, but worry if I can find CPAs who can work with plain text accounting files to do my tax. What kind of data do CPAs normally expect?

The ledger-like format of plain text accounting (PTA) allows for efficient double-entry style accounting. Almost all CPAs can receive plan text files. However, predominantly all accounting systems accepts excel formats. Users or receivers of PTA accounting files should provide clean text reports, print as PDF and export as CSV reports to a spreadsheet for CPA use.
